It's an all new and improved version, revised in depth in order to offer maximum performance and make the program easier to use. • New interface
All the interfaces has been revised and simplified. The use of the new tabbed ribbon style toolbar offers a better view with greater access to the available tools and parameters. It's easy to identify each button and it's function with the tips displayed.
• Outbox
A new Outbox has been added to let you send your messages in batch by using multi-threaded background processes transparently, without any obstruction to your current tasks. You can also use send instantly with visual progress events
• Portable!
WikMail 2008 no longer requires the use of registered DLLs on the host computer. Because WikMail is self contained in a single directory, it can be used on USB memory stick and/or any other removable media.
• New default smilies
More than 80 new smilies are embedded into the program. These animated smilies, perfectly sized and convenient for
e-mails, has been designed by GetSmile LLC who have a well deserved reputation for the quality of their graphics.
• Stationery thumbnails
Within the message editor, a new tool has been added to display all your stationeries in a thumbnails scroller. This tool, in addition to the speed scrollbar, can smoothly scroll all your stationeries thumbnails — automatically to the right and/or left side. The thumbnail view can be resized to a size convenient with your display.
• New Update tool with notification
WikMail 2008 can now check by itself if new updates are available. And if an update is discovered, will notify you. WikMail downloads the updates and installs them by itself without any other intervention from the user.
