MAJOR UPDATE!
• The Database
Many fields in the database have been redefined to accept Unicode characters.
All the procedures that need to write/read these fields have been accordingly changed and optimized.
NB: When you will restart WikMail, a window is displayed warning you that a database update is necessary.
Proceed to the update and do not stop WikMail until the procedure is not fully completed.
If you have some big mailboxes, this procedure can take several minutes. Some progress bars are displayed.
• The Mail Checker
- The emails summary display Unicode subject.
- The Super Notifier display display Unicode subject and message content.
- eMails details (click on Num. of eMails label) display Unicode characters.
• Mail Client
- The Message preview can display email message encoded with Unicode.
- The Source viewer can display source with Unicode character.
- The Speed Search accept Unicode in the search field, and wild characters ?/*.
- The WikMail news [F9] and RssFeeds can display Unicode messages.
- The Subject line in the message preview can display Unicode characters.
• Message Editor
- The message editor accept Unicode characters.

- New Tool: A scanner tool.
This new tool allow to use a scanner and add the image into the message or as attached file.
This tool offers some basic image manipulations.
(Like: Resize, Add Text, Line, Pen, Brightness, Sharpness and so on...).
You can also load an image. So, you can also use this tool to resize an image, add text, etc...
It's useful if you want to insert a camera image (often very large) and resize it to embed in the message.
• Stationery Creator
- Main changes to the HTML code generated.
Now, the stationery's are better displayed in the message editor.
- New feature, you can choose the main orientation of the template (Horizontal or Vertical).
a) Horizontal mean that the top and the bottom take the full width.
(Left and Right sides are between the top and the bottom).
b) Vertical mean that the left and right side take the full height.
(Top and bottom are between the left and right sides).
- New tool... Advanced Color Finder is available with right click on any color fields.
• In main menu (Mail Checker), Utilities, a "Disk search" utility is added.
This disk search is extremely fast and simple to use.
No wild characters are accepted. If you search "ikmail",
the search will give any file name that contain "ikmail".. like "WikMail.exe"
Once the search is finished, you can open any file found with a double/click on a file name.
(NB: This search utility is also available in "Tools" tab of the message editor.
It's fine to add an image into the message or an attached file to the message).
